Valdosta-Lowndes MPO Upcoming Committee Meetings in December

The Southern Georgia Regional Commission will host the upcoming regular meetings of the Valdosta-Lowndes Metropolitan Planning Organization in early December. The meetings are an opportunity for discussion of transportation topics among local citizens, local government staff, and local elected officials.
 
The topics to be discussed include the Complete Streets Policy, a parking study for the Valdosta Urbanized Area, the draft FY2020 Work Program and Budget, and a timeline for the development of the upcoming 2045 Transportation Vision Plan for the City of Valdosta and Lowndes County. The Technical Committee will also elect officers for 2019.
 
The Citizen’s Advisory Committee will meet on Tuesday, December 4, 2018, at 3:00 a.m. The Technical Advisory and Policy Committees will meet on Wednesday, December 5, 2018, at 9:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., respectively. All meetings are open to the public and are held at the Southern Georgia Regional Commission located at 327 W. Savannah Ave. in Valdosta.
