Bill Forbes Named SGMC Interim CEO

The Hospital Authority of Valdosta & Lowndes County, GA announced the departure of South Georgia Medical Center CEO C. Ross Berry.
The Hospital Authority approved the naming of Bill Forbes, SGMC’s System Project Administrator as interim CEO.
Mr. Forbes, who is a veteran healthcare administrator, will assume interim responsibilities for the day-to-day operations of SGMC, its campuses and affiliates.
As interim CEO, Forbes will focus his attentions upon achieving SGMC’s strategic goals and objectives which include improving healthcare quality, safety and patient experience, physician alignment and financial performance.
