Georgia Tech President's Summer Tour Reaches Tifton and Valdosta

President G.P. “Bud” Peterson is halfway through his annual Georgia Tour, stopping in Waycross, Douglas, Tifton and Valdosta on Tuesday. The highlights included driving an autonomous tractor and planting peanuts at the Georgia Peanut Commission. Peterson also said hello to his predecessor in his hometown. See the recap.

Peterson uses the annual event to visit Georgia Tech alumni, Regents, business leaders, lawmakers, and other friends of the Institute. The tour continues Wednesday in Valdosta, Thomasville and Albany.
