Valdosta State University’s Department of Mathematics and Computer Science hosted its sixth annual Computing Adventures @ VSU June 22-26. Seventeen rising fourth, fifth, sixth, and seventh graders attended the weeklong camp designed to introduce young learners to computer science and allow them to explore advancements in technology. The campers participated in a number of activities, including creating Android smart-phone apps with App Inventor and building and programming robots using LEGO Mindstorms EV3 robotics kits.
