Hart Named President of Ellis, Ricket & Associates, Architects

Blake Ellis, Ken Ricket, and Larry Jones announce that Steve Hart has been named President of the architectural firm Ellis, Ricket & Associates, (ERA) Valdosta, GA. 

Hart is a graduate of Madison County High School and has been with the firm since 1999. He earned his Bachelor of Architecture degree from Florida A&M University. After completing his internship at ERA and taking the Architectural Registration exam, he became a registered architect in 2008. His responsibilities at ERA have included master planning, preliminary design, construction documents and construction administration for several municipal and educational projects.

Hart’s key projects for the firm include the new Health Sciences Administration Building for Valdosta State University, HeritageBank of the South and the new addition and renovation to Georgia Dept of Agriculture’s Tifton Seed Laboratory. He is currently working on a new Detectives Building for Liberty County Sheriff’s Department in Hinesville, GA.

He resides in Madison, Florida with his wife Kathryn and his three children, Josh, Caleb and Ashley.
