Maurice Solis, MD Named President Elect of Georgia Vascular Society

Maurice Solis, MD recently attended the annual meeting of the Georgia Vascular Society (GVS), where he moderated a scientific session and was named President Elect of the Society. The GVS was established in 2012 for the purpose of promoting the science and art of the diagnosis and management of peripheral vascular disease.

Dr. Solis joined the medical staff at South Georgia Medical Center in September in the specialty of peripheral vascular and endovascular surgery.  He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the Society of Vascular Surgery.  Dr. Solis received the 1990-91 American Venous Forum Research Award.  He is board certified by the American Board of Surgery in Vascular Surgery.  Dr. Solis is accepting patients in his office located at the SGMC Professional Building, 2409 North Patterson Street, Suite 230.  For more information, go to www.sgmc.org/cvi or contact 229-259-4369.
