Southeastern Federal Credit Union presented Keep Lowndes/Valdosta Beautiful with a $500 donation last week. The donation is slated to be used for much-needed office supplies and expenses.

“KLVB greatly appreciates this donation from Southeastern Federal Credit Union,” says KLVB Director, Aaron Strickland. “With resources limited, non-profits rely on donations and grants to help fill in budget holes. KLVB would not be what it is today without support from the community. We are grateful for every dollar that is donated and every volunteer hour that is given.”

Southeastern FCU has participated in KLVB’s Adopt-a-Road program since 2009 by adopting the mile- long stretch of highway near their North Valdosta Road Headquarters. Southeastern employees participate in litter pick-ups once a month. The Credit Union has won KLVB’s Adopt-a-Road Participant of the Year Award three of the last four years.
