The Valdosta-Lowndes Chamber State Legislative Luncheon, sponsored by Wiregrass Technical College, is set for Wed. Dec. 5 from noon-1:30 p.m. on the campus of Wiregrass.
 
Attendees will hear about the upcoming Legislative Session from State Senator and keynote speaker Tim Golden alongside Reps. Ellis Black and Dexter Sharper.
 
Deputy Adjutant General Russell Carlson will provide a “State of the Guard” brief on behalf of the Georgia National Guard. Carlson served as Deputy Chief of Staff and Senior Campaign Advisor to Georgia’s Lt. Governor. There, he was a core member of all legislative, budgetary, communications and political strategy teams.
 
The Chamber’s Government Affairs Council will present its top business issues to elected officials.
