Three jackpot winning tickets for Friday's historic $640 million drawing were sold in Illinois, Kansas and Maryland. Georgia Lottery players also won big.

Winning numbers from the drawing were: 2-4-23-38-46 and the Mega Ball number was 23.

Six Georgia players won $250,000 prizes, and 48 won $10,000 prizes. Many other Georgia Lottery players won prizes ranging from $2 to $150.

The lucky $250,000 tickets were purchased in: Athens, Atlanta, Ellabell, Hendersonville, Marietta and Waco.

The lucky $10,000 tickets were purchased in: Acworth, Alpharetta (2), Atlanta (3), Augusta (2), Braselton, Brunswick, Carrollton, Cave Spring, Colquitt, Columbus, Conyers, Cumming, Donaldsonville, Duluth, Forest Park, Gainesville (2), Garden City, Hampton, Hartwell, Jesup, Kingsland (2), Lavonia, Lawrenceville, Leesburg, Lilburn, Lyerly, Marietta, Martinez, McDonough, Midway, Newnan, Sandy Springs, Savannah, Stockbridge, Stone Mountain, Tallapoosa (2), Trion, Tucker, Waco and Warner Robins (2).

As with all other Georgia Lottery games, proceeds from Mega Millions will benefit education in the state of Georgia.
